FAITH

......

Faith's Biography:

This is Faith. Post-puppies and back on her feet. She is a healthy happy girl who has been promised she would never have to birth another litter. Her life begins now. She is still in foster care and her foster mom feels she is not getting the kind of attention that she deserves. She has to be kept separated from the other dogs at her foster home but not due to Faith, due to a big male mastiff that only socializes with his own pack. She is getting daily walks and her basic needs are being cared for. She has a soft cozy bed, a love seat, and plenty of room to play. But she NEEDS more human contact. She craves it.

Faith is a beautiful Mastiff/Shepherd mix that weighs in at approx. 70# and is approximately 6 years old. She is completely housebroken and has never had an accident in her foster home. She is a very sweet girl who loves to play with stuffed animals and squeaky toys. The highlight of her day is the walk she takes with her foster mom's son. She has quite a bit of energy and is not gentle on lead. She walks nicely but at the end of a tight leash. She loves to ride in the car and does so with great dignity. She is truly a wonderful dog and would love to be a part of a loving family. She has great things to offer her new family.

When she came into rescue she was severely underweight and very pregnant. She was heartworm positive, had kennel cough, and an intestinal bacterial infection. She was a very unhealthy girl. We are happy to report that Faith is now completely up to date on ALL her vet care, including being heartworm negative and on prevention, as well as being spayed. She looks and feels great now and her true personality is beginning to show.

We are looking for someone to foster/adopt Faith who will be able to provide her the kind of homelife she needs. Faith will be a wonderful companion!
